This subsidiary is
responsible for and dealing with investment and management of Africa Life subsidiaries and
covers a range of sectors:
Agricultural Production
Agriculture
Production is in animal husbandry and crop production with a dual purpose:
a) To
contribute to food sustainability by providing healthy natural foods for our nutritionist to
distribute to our clients and the public.
(b)T o serve as a platform for our research in
collaboration with the government and private sector in the agricultural sector in Namibia, the
African continent, and beyond.
In addition to producing agricultural products, we also
carry out training and capacity building in communities in the following:

Human Capital
Development
As part of our Human Capital Development w e have the Africa Life
Academy which consists of two streams:
• The Mandume Ndemufavo University
We own and
run the university with the support of the Namibian government and other SADC countries. The
university, unlike general-purpose universities, has a strong leaning towards technical
disciplines such as innovation, technology, training in agriculture and farming as well as
technical vocational training and of course medicine.
• The Academic Bridging
Programmes
• We run academic bridging courses for Grade 11 -12 school leavers to upskill them
in
technical subjects such as mathematics, biology, and physical and organic chemistry to
prepare them for entry into local as well as international
universities.
